Kismeticulous is a word that encapsulates the Beyond-o-Matic approach to music.

An embrace of the random and unexpected events, both musical and otherwise, that shape our journey.

A willingness to work diligently within this framework. To be meticulous within the randomness that we embrace.

In 2014, Synthesist Kurt Stenzel suffered a stroke which limited his ability to communicate and to use the right side of his body. However, his creative fire was never diminished. Living across the country, Singer / Multi-instrumentalist Peter Fuhry strived to facilitate Stenzel's ability to make music again.

After years of rehabilitation and experimentation, they finally found a way to work together again. Along the way, they rekindled a musical relationship with second Beyond-o-drummer Frank Grau, who contributed focus, energy and insight with his contributions to the sessions.

Here then, is the result. The rules which previously governed the band have, by necessity, been wiped clean and rebuilt. But the spirit and the sonic adventurism and soul, hopefully, remain and is ever stronger.

We hope you enjoy this offering as much as we enjoyed making it.
